Xiaomi has recently initiated legal proceedings against three digital companies for alleged trademark violations and unfair competition practices. The tech giant is seeking a compensation amount of 2 million RMB from Shenzhen Tengyu Digital Technology Co., Shenzhen Chuangwang Digital Co., and Shenzhen Jintaiyi Electronics Co. The companies are accused of unauthorized use of the “Xiaomi Zong” logo on their JD store fronts and displaying identifiers similar to Xiaomi’s trademarks, leading to consumer confusion and damaging Xiaomi’s reputation.
