WSJ legal blog have just conducted an interview with legal consultant Peter Zeughauser, and it looks as though we’ve got more of the same…
until the end of the year. WSJ like the rest of us were hoping for a slow down in layoffs but after talking with Zeughauser it looks as though we’ll all have to be very realistic till the end of the year at least and into 2010.

Hi Peter. What’s the word? Tell us that the layoffs are slowing.
and his reply…..
I wish I could. But I think there are going to be more. In fact, I’m fairly certain of it. I think you’re going to see another fairly sizable round come toward the middle-to-end of the third quarter.
