The role of the Director of Integrated Marketing is a key leadership role in the Marketing department. The Director will manage a team of Integrated Marketers who are expected to develop and manage all aspects of the marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for the legal practice areas & product lines they are assigned to for Wolters Kluwer. The position will be responsible for overseeing the campaign management process and programs for market development, new customer acquisitions and sales, revenue retention, and product launches in support of the business goals by understanding customer workflows, market segment needs and utilizing all marketing vehicles necessary to generate demand and revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Lead & manage a team of Integrated Marketers

•Develop processes by which the Integrated Marketing team can perform their roles effectively & efficiently while enabling the entire organization to achieve its goals

•Ensure Integrated Marketers develop marketing plans for each product line & portfolio including market assessments, marketing strategy, market segmentation and go-to-market programs that will grow the business

•Ensure all advertising & marketing is brand compliant & coordinate product positioning, value propositions & messaging by understanding, refining market segment needs, & customer personas

•Manage an overall campaign strategy in partnership with Marketing leadership & then identify marketing opportunities to generate ongoing demand with a comprehensive media strategy & plan inclusive of budgeting & reporting

•Oversee the creation & execution of marketingcampaigns across all appropriate advertising & marketingchannels which may include direct mail, telemarketing, digitalmarketing, lead generation, thought-leadership programs, eventmarketing, salescampaigns and support, etc.

•Partner with the leadership from all Product Management, Editorial, Marketing, Sales, & Operations teams to ensure alignment of all go-to-market, sales, & support efforts for efficiency & effectiveness

•Represent the Legal & Regulatory US organization within Wolters Kluwer’s global organization & support global initiatives to improve go-to-market, marketing, and sales efforts

•Participate in key industry networks, associations, and applicable conferences and events (This section provides a list of numbered statements describing the major duties and responsibilities and the results for which the incumbent will be held accountable. Qualifications: JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree with coursework emphasis in Marketing & Advertising; MBA or equivalent preferred

Experience:

•10+ years of prior experience in marketing in the legal and regulatory market, or for a technology company, or a B2B information service provider. Marketing experience in legal markets strongly preferred.

•5+ years of managing & leading teams

•Experience with change management, hiring & staffing, process development, strategic marketing, media planning, & digitalmarketing

•Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially with PowerPoint, Excel & Word

•Experience with Salesforce.com, Eloqua, & other related tools would be helpful

•Marketing domain knowledge with an understanding of the legal and related business markets

•Exceptional verbal and written communication, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to motivate others to do their best work

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Some domestic travel (10%) may be required for internal meetings or customer conferences.
