Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services (CLS), has announced the appointment of Hyune Hand as their latest executive vice president and general manager.

Hand, we learn from the press release, takes on this newly created role to increase CLS’s leadership and strategic focus on the small- and mid-sized corporate customer segment, along with the entrepreneurs and law firms that serve them.

In this position, Hand will lead a team within Corporate Legal Services that is focused on delivering its compliance and governance services and solutions to this growing and unique customer segment. With the recently announced acquisition of NRAI, a leader in registered agent services, CLS is now equipped to deliver an expanded compliance and governance portfolio that includes NRAI, CT Corporation, a leading provider of corporate business compliance solutions, and BizFilings, the original online incorporation service provider for small business owners.
Hand joins CLS with a distinguished 16-year career at D&B Corporation, a global provider of business information and services. Recently she held a dual role at D&B’s president of Internet solutions and SVP of global sales and marketing solutions. She had responsibility for the $500 million sales and marketing portfolio and led a dramatic turnaround effort of its international solutions subsidiary, Hoover’s. She led the implementation of a comprehensive strategy that enabled Hoover’s to win share in the small business market, while delivering the highest customer satisfaction scores in the company.

Hand holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grove City College in Pennsylvania. She is fluent in English, Korean and Portuguese. Her position is based in CLS’s New York offices.
