Walmart’s Trademark Infringement Suit Over Chrome Paint

Walmart Inc. allegedly infringed two trademarks of a custom automotive products company by advertising that it sells “easy chrome” paint, according to a federal lawsuit.

The terms “easy chrome paint” and “Alsa easy chrome” were used in some of Walmart’s September advertising on Google which allegedly infringed Alsa Refinishing LLC’s trademark rights, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California Tuesday.
