David Williams is a partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Group at Walker Morris and is an exceptionally well known and highly regarded litigator and with particular expertise across a wide range of commercial dispute and regulatory issues, including anti-bribery and corruption.? He will be speaking on the UK Bribery Act 2010.? The Act, which has received much attention in the UK media and the legal sector, comes into force on 1st July 2011.? The Act is one of the most radical and far-reaching pieces of UK legislation in modern times and it poses some very significant operational and management issues for organisations based or operating in the UK, causing many of them to fundamentally re-evaluate their methods of operation and their business model both in the UK and overseas.
