Council are pleased to invite recommendations for the Wildy BIALL Law Librarian of the Year Award 2018, sponsored by Wildy & Sons Ltd. The annual award, of £500 and the much coveted glass book with the winners name inscribed upon it, is made courtesy of Wildy’s, to an individual law librarian / legal information professional who has made a significant contribution to the work of BIALL and/or the legal information world, either in the UK, Ireland or overseas. The recipient of the award will be decided by a special meeting of the elected Council Officers, along with an observer from Wildy’s, based upon recommendations made by BIALL members. The presentation of the award will be at the forthcoming Birmingham Conference in June 2018. Please provide as much detail as possible about your recommended person, and include a short statement explaining why they should be considered for this award. Candidate suggestions will only be accepted from legal information professionals. The closing date for nominations will be 1st April 2018
