Vanderbilt EELU Program to Host 2025 State of the Environment Conference on March 19

Vanderbilt’s Energy, Environment & Land Use Program (EELU) will hold its third annual State of the Environment Conference on March 19 at Vanderbilt Law School from 12:00-6:00 pm. Supported by the Sally Shallenberger Brown Program Fund, the conference features environmental experts from academia, government, and industry.

The event kicks off with a State of the Environment presentation, led by Michael Vandenbergh, David Daniels Allen Distinguished Chair in Law and Co-Director of the EELU Program. It continues with panels on Water, Energy, Land Use and Conservation, ending with a session on Innovation that features EELU’s Private Climate Governance Lab.

The panelists represent a diverse range of experts, including academics from Vanderbilt Law School, government officials from state agencies and local planning departments, environmental organization leaders, and private sector sustainability consultants.
