USA: Oakland County Judge Michael Warren named ‘Judge of the Decade’

An Oakland County Circuit Judge has been named “Judge of the Decade for 2019” by the International Association of Top Professionals.

Michael Warren, who earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1992, is being recognized for nearly 30 years of service as a practicing judge, professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities and contributions to society. He’s served on the bench since 2002, and is also an author, constitutional law professor and co-creator of Patriot Week in Oakland County, celebrated each September. Warren is also the recipient of

As Judge of the Decade for 2019, Warren will be presented with the Presidential Crystal Tower at the 2019 IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala, held in Las Vegas in December.

“Choosing Judge Warren for this award was an easy decision for our panel to make,” said Stephanie Cirami, president of IAOTP. “He is an extraordinary professional and expert in the legal field and we are so honored to have him within our organization and cannot wait to celebrate his achievements at this year’s Award Gala.”

Throughout his career, Warren has received multiple awards including several from the NAACP, the Oakland Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Associations, as well as the Great Influence Award from the Michigan Council for the Social Studies and a special tribute from the state legislature. In addition, Warren was honored as IAOTP’s 2018 Top Judge of the Year and is being considered for the organization’s 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award.”
