USA: Librarian/Legal Research Analyst SCHNADER HARRISON SEGAL & LEWIS LLP

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Legal and non-legal research and reference work, including public records, property, news, expert witness, legislative, transactional, company and industry
• Docket litigation and news monitoring
• Research in support of business development
• Providing departmental support as necessary, including collection development and password administration and management

Qualifications:

• Masters in Library Science or Information from an ALA-accredited library school required; three years of full-time professional experience as a researcher in a law library strongly preferred; JD preferred;
• Thorough knowledge of areas of legal research; advanced proficiency with major legal research tools and company research tools;
• Strong organizational skills; strong written and oral communication skills; service orientation
