Threats and violence against Utah attorneys are increasing, with hundreds of lawyers reporting harassment, intimidation and even physical assaults tied to their work, according to a new statewide survey.

The findings, presented Friday at the Utah State Bar’s Spring Convention in St. George, highlight a troubling shift not only in how often threats occur, but where and how they are carried out.
