So, did LLAGNY send a letter and did librarians contact West-Thomson and voice their outrage!…I hope so.
Patricia Barbone is right, it denigrates the profession…people need to be proactive, and let them know…we talk about how important your work is…now show them…take a stand and write

As we did last year, when West, a Thomson Reuters company, denigrated our profession with their ad campaign, ?Are you on a first name basis with the librarian??, the LLAGNY Board intends to send a letter to those involved in making this recent and troubling decision.
