Understanding Neurodiversity & Building an Inclusive Work Environment

A sense of belonging and purpose is foundational to employee success and workplace satisfaction for all employees, but especially our colleagues and peers that are neurodiverse. Neurodiversity is variations, not deficits, within the brain that individualize functional abilities among various situations. Sometimes referred to as “differently abled” this poised verbiage reflects the unique aptitudes persons with neurological variations are capable to achieve. In this presentation the speakers will acquaint you to the background and current landscape of neurodiversity as it relates to work. They will also showcase personal stories for associative ties with the content and introduce ideas of workplace accommodations to generate a robust and conducive working environment.
