UKLEA: Annual Conference Just Arou

Annual Conference 2023 is next week!  And we are feeling very excited. Many people over many months have contributed to the programme line up, and we are confident that this year’s conference is going to be a stand out. Joining instructions will be emailed to all delegates on Monday with a link to our conference website.

We have ONE final last minute residential ticket available, a handful of Saturday tickets and unlimited, fully online tickets, so come and join us if you have not done so already.

Our AGM takes place on Friday (30 June) during conference but is open to all members, irrespective of whether you are attending conference. All members will be sent a link to join the webinar – look out for the email on Wednesday (28 June).

In other news this week, UKELA has submitted a response to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities consultation: Environmental Outcomes Report: a new approach to environmental assessment. You can find the link to the paper below.

We have announced the successful applicants for this year’s Student Vocational Bursary Scheme; we are delighted to have offered four awards that support varied and interesting placements. Details below.

Please check out our future events coming up – if you are in the Manchester area on 11 July, join UKELA North for a roundtable on The Law Society’s guidance on the impact of climate change on solicitors.

With conference happening next week, there will be no mailer on Friday 30 June. We look forward to seeing all those attending either online or in person next week!
