UKELA (UK Environmental Law Asoociation) Needs A Research Assistant For Their Brexit Task Force

This job looks fascinating and i’d suggest a very important role as the UK moves forward. EU rules and regs have essentially kept the British countryside alive since the seventies. I have to say the lack of EU oversight on the UK environment is one of my biggest fears going forward

Here’s the job…..

As you know, UKELA has been engaged for some time, both pre- and post-referendum, on exploring the implications of Brexit for UK environmental law. Following the establishment of UKELA’s Brexit Task Force (BTF) last year, we are now recruiting a Research Assistant to support UKELA and the BTF in undertaking its important work.  The post offers a wonderful opportunity to be at the heart of a most critical period in the development of UK environmental law, and help secure its future. A job description is attached.

UKELA is open to a range of employment options for the right candidate such as secondments or flexible working patterns to accommodate other commitments. The deadline for applications is midday on Wednesday January 25 2017. Interviews are likely to be held on 31 January and 1 February 2017 in London or Bristol.  Please feel free to call Executive Director, Linda Farrow, on 07970 956 171 for an informal discussion.

best wishes
