UK Position: Global law firm is looking for a Marketing Communication Assistant to join UK Marketing Communications team

A leading global law firm is looking for a Marketing Communication Assistant to join its dynamic UK Marketing Communications team. The role holder will be a crucial resource who will work closely with colleagues globally to help support the delivery of eMarketing campaigns. The successful candidate will work in tandem with the Marketing Communications team and Account Management, focusing 80% of their time on eMarketing and 20% across other Marketing Communications streams.

This role is responsible for maintaining data related to the internal marketing system. You will liaise with marketing colleagues, PSL’s and Partners in order to support the delivery of central mailings and event and seminar invitations, create mailings and newsletters using eMarketing technology and update client records and databases to improve overall data quality. On the Marketing Communications side, this role supports the marketing communication activities for the London office, through the delivery of activities such as client seminar and webinar management, league tables submissions and client communications, both printed and e-comms.

You will be involved in eMarketing Campaigns for events, providing management and on-going support of London and global based central mailings. Including liaising with marketing, PSL’s and Partners to manage new mailing requests, segmenting and generating lists of contacts to be mailed or invited, creating newsletter mailings and event invitations, assisting with managing data quality within contact lists, sending mailings, managing responses, reminder emails, generating mailing and post-event reports, managing data cleansing and delivering eMarketing training to designated users. You will also assist with the delivery of the London Seminar Programme, including pre-event planning, on the day management, and post-event management. You will manage, monitor and maintain League Tables as well as ad hoc tasks that may arise.

You will have a commitment to quality and delivery and be a strong team player with good influencing and interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and resilient, be a good communicator – written and verbal, possess a good sense of humour, have strong attention to detail and be creative/innovative. You will have a suitable degree or appropriate experience in a similar role within a professional services environment and have detailed knowledge of eMarketing tools and the management and use of data/systems in a professional service environment.
