Salary Details: £39,292 – 47,382 pro rata, with 3% flex fund after 3 months plus comprehensive benefits
The post is 0.6 FTE and fixed term for eighteen months with the possibility of extension

 

As an experienced archivist you will lead and shape the team’s contributions to our 200th anniversary programme, undertaking research, sourcing materials and creating content. In this crucial role you’ll be putting in place the standards for a well-managed collection long term and guiding a variety of initiatives to widen engagement with our members and the public.

What we’re looking for
You will be a qualified archivist with experience of independent research and content creation. You will be committed to engaging audiences, widening access to historic material, and have excellent interpersonal skills for confidently working with others.

As our archives lead and subject specialist, your ability to prioritise projects, work independently and on your own initiative is essential.
