This is a newly created role in the Law Society library services team. You will be supporting our small user-focused team in the efficient daily running of the library service and document delivery service, and assisting members in the use of our collections and databases.
You will get hands-on experience in legal research tailored to the requirements of the solicitors’ profession and help us deliver an excellent service to our members. Additionally you will have the opportunity to contribute to preparations for our bicentenary celebration under the supervision of an archivist.
The traineeship is designed to offer one year of practical experience of library work to those fully committed to embarking on a postgraduate course leading to a qualification as a library or information professional.
