A law firm has paid tribute to a “talented lawyer and dear colleague” who died in a Rawtenstall crash.

Jake Neary died after a crash in an alleyway off Parramatta Street, on Friday, July 26.

Preston-based Harrison Drury Solicitors posted a tribute, hailing the 31-year-old as a “dear colleague”.

A spokesperson said: “It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear colleague and friend, Jake Neary, whose life was tragically taken on July 26.

“Jake was not just a valued member of the Harrison Drury team but also a great friend to many of us.

“We will miss Jake more than words can express. Jake was a talented lawyer who was highly respected and regarded, especially in Clitheroe, where our team is available to support anyone who needs to reach out during this difficult time.

“We will share details about the funeral arrangements in accordance with the wishes of Jake’s family once they have been confirmed.”
