A UK law firm with offices around the country are looking to hire a new IT Developer who has experience using the platform VisualFiles/LexisNexis – this position is a rare opportunity where you can be based where you choose so if you live in the South or North of the country please feel free to apply. This firm is looking for an experienced Developer to work on developing, upgrading, enhancing and supporting the VisualFiles system working alongside the existing VF developer. Key duties will include to develop the case management system with the aim of optimising the business efficiency and procedures, upgrade the current environment to the latest release of VisualFiles, implement Outlook Plus, implement History Plus, work with the IT team to deliver first class reports for internal MI and for client consumption, ensure that the integration between VF and Elite (the firms PMS) is watertight, work very closely with the business to undertake business process analysis with a view to further enhancing and developing workflow processes, assist the IT service desk with VF administration, troubleshooting and other VF queries, work with the Business Services teams to enhance internal processes and systems, document changes and adhere to internal processes and best practices and any other duties as reasonably requested by the Head of IT. The role will require an ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, furthermore you will naturally embrace new technologies, ideas and our business requirements.
