A top UK law firm has a new vacancy for a Knowledge Analyst. Working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will provide Information services to fee earners and work with colleagues across all areas of the firm.
Specifics include:
- carrying out legal and business research using online and hard copy sources
- providing a current awareness service
- promoting information and knowledge services across the firm
- delivering group and one to one training sessions in the use of information and knowledge services
- reviewing and procuring materials and monitoring resources continually
- collection management responsibilities including cataloguing and journals management
- mentoring a junior member of the team
- working on ad hoc projects when required
In order to be considered for this role candidates should have:
- a degree or equivalent studies
- Library/Information/Knowledge Management qualification (desirable)
- experience of working in a law firm information service
- experience of working on KM initiatives within a legal setting
- excellent communication skills
