UK Law firm Foot Antsey launches electric car scheme for 600 staff

Business Insider reports…

Law firm Foot Antsey has launched a scheme to encourage its staff to start driving electric or ultra-low emission vehicles as part of efforts to reduce its impact on the environment.

The organisation, which has offices located in Bristol, Exeter, London, Plymouth, Southampton, Taunton and Truro, has announced a deal with car benefit company Tusker to help its more than 600-strong workforces pay for switching from petrol or diesel cars.

As part of the initiative, some of employees’ pre-tax salaries will be put towards monthly payments for leasing the greener vehicles, including models produced by manufacturers such as Skoda and Kia.

Ina Simon, HR director at Foot Anstey, said: “We are always looking for opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment, promote sustainable travel and behaviour and help our employees reinforce these activities in their day-to-day lives.

“This link-up with Tusker is a great way to achieve these goals and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it to all our people.”

Foot Anstey‘s chief technology officer Dave Bloor and Jackie Linehan, a legal director at Enable Law, which is a member of the Foot Anstey group, are among the senior leaders within the organisation to have signed up to the new scheme.
