UK: Law 360 (Lexis Nexis) Looking For Journo

Law360 – Journalist/ Reporter

Based in Farringdon

Law360, an online legal newswire is looking for an accomplished reporter/journalist to join our growing London news bureau. The successful candidate will join our team to cover developments in UK financial services litigation, regulation/enforcement and legislation.

Topics will range from the Libor trials to the Financial Conduct Authority’s latest enforcement actions to the European Union’s capital markets and financial crime reforms. Searching and pitching stories will also be part of the role. While prior experience covering the law is not necessary, excellent news judgment and analytical skills are required to excel in this position.

The role will involve working with a dynamic team of experience journalists. In the position, you will talk to senior lawyers, financial regulators and policymakers as we tackle the biggest UK and EU financial legal and regulatory news stories of the day.

What we need from you:

  • Undergraduate degree in Journalism or related field
  • Accomplished and paid, full-time reporting experience
  • Demonstrated reporting, writing and analytical skills
  • Interest in business or legal news
  • Experience and commitment to contact-driven journalism
