UK: Gowling WLG’s Diane Miller Is New President of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL).

Diane Miller, a senior member of the Information and Library Services team at international law firm Gowling WLG, has become President of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL).

Diane has worked in the legal information sector for over 25 years. Her current role covers a range of content and knowledge management activities, but focuses on legal and business research, collection management, training and innovative current awareness solutions.
Diane is a Chartered Librarian and is CILIP mentor for both Library and KM Chartership routes.

Diane has worked for many years as a BIALL volunteer, and has been involved in many aspects of the organization’s work including acting as Chair of the Publicity and Promotions Committee and being part of the Professional Skills Framework Working Group.

Diane said “I would like to thank Catherine Bowl (now Immediate Past President) for doing a great job as President and I am very honoured to be following her in this prestigious role. I am particularly looking forward to working alongside our fantastic volunteers and encouraging our members to participate in the Association’s activities during my year as President.”
