The Lawyer (UK) reports today that UK firm Herbert Smith has teamed up with Oxford University to run a week-long lecture series in India to attract the county?s top legal talent.
The firm?s corporate partner Chris Parsons will fly out with Oxford law faculty dean, professor Timothy Endicott, to give a series of lectures and workshops at the National Law School of India University, in Bangalore.
Graduate recruitment manager Peter Chater said: ?Oxford University is such a well-known brand in India. Our presence on campus in India with Oxford University will really put our name to the forefront and hopefully attract brilliant candidates for our internship programme.?
