A brazen ex-lawyer wanted by UK ‘cops for a series of alleged ‘dine and dash’ incidents has allegedly fled abroad and posted photos of herself on a day-trip to Disneyland, it emerged today.
Kerry Stevens, 40, has failed to appear at court on at least nine occasions and is currently the subject of four arrest warrants
But the former lawyer, who was struck off after being previously convicted of failing to pay £60.91 at a Harvester, is now believed to be living with a family member in the Lorraine area of France
Stevens, previously from Southend, Essex, posted on Facebook on May 18 wearing Mickey Mouse ears and holding a bubble-wand, understood to be at Disneyland Paris.
A family friend claimed Stevens fled earlier this year after failing to appear before the courts despite pleas from her family to stay.
They said: “The police came looking for her again and her mum had to tell them she’d gone.”
Stevens made headlines after she was first named locally after allegedly targeting restaurants and taxi firms – with images online circulating of her in a legal wig and gown.
The mum-of-one was charged with eleven counts of making off without payment and one count of theft from a shop in 2024.
