Tiverton woman accused of stealing more than $900,000 from a New Bedford law firm

A Tiverton woman is accused of stealing more than $900,000 from the New Bedford law firm where she worked as an office manager, according to Bristol County, Massachusetts, District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III.

Nadine Santos, 54, was indicted by a Bristol County grand jury on 14 counts of larceny over $1,200, according to Quinn. She was arraigned May 19, with bail set at $3,000, Quinn said in a press release.

According to Quinn, Santos worked as an office manager at the law firm of Sullivan Williams & Quintin in New Bedford from 2004 until her termination in February 2020. She paid bills and handled payroll for the firm and had full access to its finances and bank accounts.
