Thomson Reuters has announced that it has acquired the Redfern Legal Centre Publishing imprint and will be publishing the new edition of The Law Handbook and The Family Law Handbook; as well as distributing the current edition of The Environmental Law Handbook.
Thomson Reuters succeeds UNSW Press as the publisher of the handbooks: UNSW Press has published the Centre’s handbooks since 2004.
The director of UNSW Press, Robin Derricourt, paid tribute to the many writers whose contributions have created the successive editions of the handbook: ‘The move to Thomson Reuters will ensure their work reaches the widest possible audience of readers, whether citizens, or their legal and community advisors,’ he said.
