Just to remind you the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre?s 25th Anniversary Conference which will held at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong from 17-20 November 2010.
Here’s what they say
Over 250 distinguished members of the dispute resolution community will gather to discuss the most critical issues in the industry, hear members of the judiciary, government bodies and private practice lawyers share their knowledge and expertise and partake in a mock arbitration co-supported by the ICC Court of International Arbitration and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, East Asia Branch.
With Hong Kong needing to consolidate its position as the Asia- Pacific?s leading arbitral centre in the face of competition from elsewhere in the region, the conference theme for this year is ?Rethinking International Arbitration?.? Workshop presentations and panel discussions include analysis of the future role of international arbitration, what role courts must play in the process and how the international arbitration system can best be adapted to suit the cultural and commercial realities of doing business in Asia.
