Ukrainian Bar Association: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces praised the activities of the head of the Center for the Coordination of Voluntary Assistance of the NAAU

Head of the Military Law Committee of NAAU, head of the Center for the Coordination of Volunteer Assistance of Lawyers to Servicemen, Maria Ostrovska , received thanks from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces noted a significant personal contribution in providing comprehensive assistance to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, active volunteering in martial law conditions.

It will be recalled that in April NAAU created the Center for the Coordination of Volunteer Assistance of Lawyers to Military Servicemen. The corresponding decision was signed by the Head of NAAU, RAU Lidia Izovitova.

The main task of the Center is informational, methodical and other support for lawyers who provide legal assistance to servicemen pro bono within the framework of the volunteer movement.

In particular, the Center organizes seminars, round tables, conferences, lectures on topical issues of legal assistance to military personnel, publishes practical manuals on topical issues of volunteer legal assistance, establishes constructive interaction with the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies and international institutions.
