As you plan for the year ahead, mark your calendar: The 34th annual Animal Law Conference will take place October 16-18, 2026, in Washington, DC, with a virtual option available.Join advocates, scholars, practitioners, and students from around the world for three days of discussion, connection, and momentum for animals.

The Animal Law Conference is Moving in 2027
And looking ahead, we have another exciting update to share. Starting in 2027, the Animal Law Conference will transition to a spring schedule. That means the 35th Annual Animal Law Conference is planned for March 12-14, 2027, in Portland, Oregon, with a virtual option available.

Call for Proposals is Now Open
We are accepting proposals for individual presentations for both upcoming conferences.

Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis through March 15, 2026, and early submissions are encouraged. Learn more and submit your proposal here.
