Looking to attend a timely in-person workshop on Future-ready library and information services? To network with fellow senior professionals across the information sector in Oxford’s oldest pub? To hear two great speakers from IFLA and the British Library? To enjoy an exclusive tour of the Bodleian Libraries?
The 2021 CILIP Employers Forum sponsored by CB Resourcing and Collection HQ offers this and much more! We know it takes a bit more now to attract in-person attendance and believe we’ve done just that here.
The Forum will be introduced by Richard Ovenden, Bodley’s Librarian and author of “Burning the Books: A History of Knowledge Under Attack”. Our speakers are Stephen Wyber from IFLA and Blerina Hashani from the British Library. Stephen Wyber from IFLA will talk about influencing and advocating and Blerina Hashani from the British Library will talk about libraries responding to the climate change crisis. Nick Poole (CILIP Chief Executive) and Jo Cornish (CILIP Chief Development Officer) will host and chair the day.
We are also running a large part of the event online for those who prefer to attend this way.
