Syria: At security checkpoint government forces arrest lawyer in Homs

Members at a checkpoint of the caretaker government in Homs province arrested a lawyer from the Christian community, while he was near Syria-Lebanon border, following a private phone chat, where he was taken to a security centre and his fate remains unknown.

The lawyer hails from Al-Rablah village in Al-Qusayr countryside.

It is worth noting that his family was not allowed to contact him.

This incident highlights the escalating practices of privacy violations and the targeting of individuals based on their personal views.
