– A leading global software provider is currently looking for a new recruit to join our fun and focused team of creatives made up of graphic designers, marketers and web developers in our Global head office in Sydney. The Global Marketing team supports and sets best practice for our local Marketing teams in New York, London and Sydney, as well as launching new brands, companies and products. The Global team sets world class standards for LEAP and we need a world class content writer to join the team.
The role of the Global Content Writer is to create, check and edit material, as well as provide content support and ideas to Global Marketing’s brand, web and design projects. This role would suit an individual who has high attention to detail, a passion for writing, is highly motivated, has a desire to progress their career in a high performing culture and high growth company, and enjoys working autonomously to get results for their team. To be successful in the role, you must have excellent writing skills and attention to detail, be able to work under pressure in a creative environment, have exceptional time management and a ‘get the job done’ mentality.
Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be part of a highly collaborative team who loves to share ideas, innovate and are driven to be the best.

Responsibilities The Global Content Writer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Bring experience to Global Marketing strategy to help make good decisions for the company.
- Debating content strategies for email, social, web and print media with the Global Marketing team on current projects.
- Setting world class best practice standards for LEAP content writers globally.
- Managing the Global content library.
- Working with the CMO on PR related content writing and strategy.
- Creating new, innovative content in email, web copy, blogs, social media, print and more.
- Create, edit and review all content work for the Global Marketing team and some local team work when needed.
- Create and review website content for search engine optimisation.
- Create new ways to educate the market using content as a driver.
- Monitor content use throughout the business and make sure we are always on brand and communicating the correct message globally.
- Create new content based on emerging industry trends or problem/solution articles related to small law firm practice.
Selection Criteria – Essential
- At least 3 years working as a content writer in some capacity.
- Experience writing in different marketing mediums: email, optimised web copy, blogs, press releases, social, print and more.
- Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for typos and grammatical errors.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders to understand their goals, messaging and audience.
- Clear and precise verbal communication skills.
- An ability to project manage and meet deadlines without supervision.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Selection Criteria – Desired
- An interest in, and an understanding of the legal industry.
- A law degree OR experience in the legal industry in some capacity.
- Knowledge of SEO and Google analytics.
- PR experience.
- Creative / strategic thinking.
