Stoli Group’s US arm is facing pushback to its proposed bankruptcy financing arrangement from two Russian entities it’s been battling for years over vodka trademarks.
The alcohol distributor has infringed the trademark since at least 2014 when the company began importing Stolichnaya vodka into the US, the state-backed Federal Treasury Enterprise Sojuzplodoimport and OAO Moscow Distillery Cristall argued in a Thursday objection in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
