South Australia Police Go To Limerick To Recruit – Gardai Not Impressed

This amused me–

Gardaí in Limerick were not “overly impressed” after a recruitment advert for South Australia Police was placed outside a garda station in the city centre.

On Thursday, gardaí at Limerick’s Henry Street station spotted a van with an advert on the side calling on gardaí to “explore the benefits of relocating with South Australia Police” along with a giant QR code.

The tagline “Down Here, It’s a Pretty Great Career” was plastered at the top of the poster, but in a post on Instagram, gardaí hit back at the attempt at getting officers to move down under, adding: “But Up Here…. A Job Worth Doing”.
