Society for Scholarly Publishing Elects Wolters Kluwer’s Miranda Walker as President

Newswise — WALTHAM, MA – Wolters Kluwer, Health is pleased to announce that Miranda Walker, Associate Director, Medical Journals, for Health Learning, Research & Practice, has been named president-elect of The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Board of Directors. Her year-long term will begin June 1, 2021.

As president-elect, Walker will work to fulfill the SSP’s mission of advancing communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community as indicated in her vision statement. She aims to uphold the SSP’s goals of supporting diversity, equity and inclusion, and to create career development opportunities for all professional levels of scholarly communications globally.
