Ever heard the one about how the Panama Papers exposed the rich and powerful as part of a global conspiracy to evade taxes and screw the rest of us over, and “literally nothing happened?”

Here at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, we are SICK of seeing this social post get re-shared every month. Why? Because LOTS happened after we led the Panama Papers investigation — but clearly, that message isn’t getting through.*

That’s where you come in.

At ICIJ, we’re really good at pulling together unprecedented global reporting collaborations (400+ journalists, all working together on a single story). And we’re amazing at exposing inequality, injustices and wrongdoing with our groundbreaking investigations. But we need help making sure our stories are reaching the right people, that we’re part of the right conversations, and that our investigations are empowering folks to make a difference in the world.

If you’re a passionate storyteller with a background in social media and an interest in mission-driven accountability journalism, we’d love you to help us.

*We are endlessly thankful that, five years on from the Panama Papers, we do now have a few people regularly jumping to our defense — whoever you are, we salute you. Want a job?
