SJ Berwin Appoints new Head Of Hong Kong Office

The short press release tells us that effective 1 October 2012, George Pinkham  will become head of the Hong Kong

business, responsible for furthering the company’s expansion plans across Asia-Pacific, particularly in Hong Kong and

Shanghai.

The focus will be on private equity, corporate and litigation/dispute resolution.

Pinkham founded the Paris office in 2001 and has served as a member of the Strategy Committee for a decade. Even with the appointment, he remains co-head of the international funds department alongside Jonathan Blake. He will also be working closely with Peter Anderson for corporate, Giovanna Kwong for dispute resolution, and Tony Gibson for investment funds.

Joining him in Hong Kong is Guo Sun Lee, London senior associate, who has spent the last five years working out of the London office on a number of key private equity clients from worldwide.
