Nicholas Lum has joined Ince & Co’s Singapore team as a partner in the firm’s Shipping and International Trade practice group, the law firm announced today.
Lum joins from Oon & Bazul LLP where he was a partner in their dispute resolution group.
As a dispute resolution lawyer Lum focuses on international trade and commodities, shipping and shipbuilding and general commercial disputes. Nick has extensive experience in China, having previously worked for a global law firm in its Shanghai office. He will head up Ince & Co’s China practice in the Singapore office and will divide his time between the Singapore and Shanghai offices.
He has been recognised as a leading lawyer in various legal publications, including Legal 500 Asia Pacific, AsiaLaw Profiles and Benchmark Asia-Pacific.

Lum appointment continues a successful period of expansion for the firm. In October, the Ince Law Alliance in Singapore announced it had hired lawyers Felicia Tan and Moses Lin to bolster its commercial litigation and arbitration team.
