Lawyers Weekly reports

Seyfarth, the Australian arm of global law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP, has named two new partners, meaning the firm now has gender parity in its partnership.

Justine Giuliani and Philippa Noakes (both pictured) have been named as the newest partners at Seyfarth, bringing the number of Australian partners to 12.

The promotion of the pair to the firm’s partnership represents the third and fourth promotions from within the team since the Australian offices of Seyfarth opened in Australia in 2013.

Ms Guiliani, the firm said in a statement, focuses her practice on advising clients on the employment and industrial aspects of multifaceted restructures and other workplace change programs, while Ms Noakes has a “wide-ranging” employment and industrial relations practice working with leading employers across Australia.

Elsewhere, Stephen Crilly has been elevated to counsel.
