About Our Client
Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Executive to join their China Disputes Team in handling a range of high profile litigation transactions.
Job Description
As a Legal Executive of the China Disputes Team, you will be working closely with leading litigation lawyers, in preparation and drafting of legal documentations relevant to their group. You will be exposed to investigations and regulatory proceedings, as well as assisting in advising financial institutions on regulatory matters and criminal prosecutions. You will also be responsible for ad hoc duties such as handling bill of costs, fixing court dates, and conducting relevant legal research.
The Successful Applicant
Our client is seeking a candidate who has gained 8 + years of experience within the Disputes Group within international or sizable local law firms. You should be familiar with litigation and injunction procedures, having gained solid experience in drafting and preparation of relevant documents. You must be well versed in handling the White Book, and which Orders and Rules to refer to. Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin is a must. You must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be based in Hong Kong currently.
