Cisco is currently looking for an experienced attorney with strong academic credentials, a track record of innovation and the desire to grow. The successful candidate will join the Greater China Legal Team, reporting to the General Counsel of Greater China who is based in Shanghai. The role will involve dealing with our most important customers in the region as well as working collaboratively with other members of the Cisco legal department around the world.
You will be drafting, negotiating and analyzing a wide variety of sales and other agreements with our most important customers and partners. You will also provide legal advice to senior executives on a wide range of legal issues, from intellectual property to contract law to employment law. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience as an attorney, with China-based law firm and in-house experience at a multinational company both highly desirable. Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English are required.
This role will focus on Greater China and some travel within region will be required.
