IIAs & FINANCIAL CRISES This Conference explores how policy space may be constrained by international investment agreements (IIAs) particularly when a host state seeks to respond to a financial crisis drawing from the situation of Argentina but also looking at other experiences. Singapore and ASEAN as well as some Asian states have since modified their IIAs.
