I?m very happy to announce that I will be editing a new book titled Law Libraries in the Digital Age which will be a ground-breaking new legal librarianship textbook that will also serve as an invaluable resource for practicing law librarians who want to be at the forefront of information technology and law libraries. It will be published by Scarecrow Press which is a member of the Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, known for their scholarly bibliographies, historical dictionaries, and library science monographs.
And I?m seeking contributors!! Here?s the official call for participation!!
This comprehensive manual will discuss the most cutting-edge developments that face today?s modern law libraries including e-Books, mobile device management, Web scale discovery, cloud computing, social software, and much more. This title will approach these central issues and concepts from the perspective of tech-savvy library leaders who will each discuss how forward-thinking libraries are tackling traditional library practices such as reference, collection development, technical services, and administration in this new ?digital age?. The Editorial Board will consist of distinguished faculty members from well-known law library programs throughout the US. This is a title which every law library will want to have in their collection.
