Roll On Friday’s Aus Law Firm Survey Promises To Be A Corker

ROF have published an update on their website this week preparing us for the results of their forthcoming Australian Law Firm Survey..

and they write, RollOnFriday’s Australian Law Firm Survey continues apace with hundreds of lawyers writing in to big up or, more often than not, complain about their firms.

The post goes on to say…

It certainly seems a bleaker picture than last year. Blake Dawson in particular has come in for some seriously bad reviews, following its announcement of redundancies earlier this month. Associates complain that partners refused to discuss the matter in any way, and that they found out about redundancies from the press (RollOnFriday is happy to have been of service). More importantly, the bathroom habits of the Business Services division leave much to be desired.

And whilst Freehills might not be making redundancies yet, it has incurred the wrath of its staff as the the legendary Friday night drinks which were so highly praised last year have been scaled back to a once a month affair.

But it’s not all bad news: Minter Ellison serves "sublime" mixed nuts on the client floor and the Perth office still has once a month cake day. High praise indeed. And Maddocks came in for praise for cutting partner benefits before Tim Tams, always the sign of a law firm with its priorities straight.

We look forward to seeing the results soon
