One of the world’s largest legal recruiting companies has deleted all references to its commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, ROF can reveal.
Major, Lindsey & Africa has quietly removed reams of material from its website. A source claimed it did so without telling staff.
The company, based in the US, has 25 offices and over 200 recruiters and claims to be the recruiter of choice for the top US and UK firms.
Until recently it also claimed that DEI was really, really important to it.
So important that the centrepiece of MLA’s home page was the boast that its recruiters were “CHAMPIONS FOR DIVERSITY & INCLUSION”.
“Diversity is a core value of our firm and has been since our founding”, it used to state, claiming that “We are deeply committed to diversity for our clients and for ourselves, embracing, encouraging and supporting diversity wherever – and whenever – we can.”
