A prominent and highly respected international law firm has a newly created job opportunity based in London (with working from home) for a Research Services Analyst, to join their Knowledge and Information service.Key job responsibilities for the Research Services Analyst will include:

– undertaking legal and business research, utilising a wide range of online and hard copy resources
– providing training on research skills and online resources
– providing client and sector current awareness
– assisting with staff induction programmes
– profiling departmental precedents, knowhow and other KM resources
– ongoing project work
This would suit an Information professional from another law firm with:

– Practical experience of undertaking research, using a range of research and information databases such as LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters services
– Relevant Information management experience working in a commercial environment
– Degree level, having achieved an Information / Library and Information qualification

You should also possess excellent communication skills in addition to:

– a flexible approach to working as part of a team
– an enthusiastic, can-do attitude
