This is a permanent part-time position of 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver top-tier research and information services in a legislative environment.
Develop and apply research methodologies for high-quality responses to client requests.
Ensure research responses meet quality guidelines for confidentiality, accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness.
Liaise with clients, and staff the service desk on a rostered basis.
Contribute to strategic policy development, system design, service delivery, and feedback programs.
Investigate and optimize the use of internal and external databases.
Participate in professional development and maintain contemporary information practices.
Represent and promote Library research services, including client information literacy programs.
Prepare and deliver customized alert services to meet individual client needs within tight deadlines.
Lead or participate in specialized multi-disciplinary projects.
Assist in developing and documenting policy, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline, such as law, economics/statistics, environmental studies, humanities, public policy, science, etc., is required and postgraduate qualifications are desirable. Legal qualifications will be advantageous in this role.
