Your responsibilities as Publishing Production Associate (Temporary)
- Updating transmittals
- Typesetting book descriptions
- Creating filing instructions
- Receipt and distribution of files delivered by production vendor
- Receipt of content revisions for upload to production vendor
- Verifying that proof edits have made it into subsequently generated proof
- Compiling proof for editor sign-off
- Special projects as needed
Qualified candidates will have:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a book publishing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Strong writing skills are a must.
- Good organizational, communication and computer skills are required.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline driven environment.
